National Young Republican Delegation in Mobile
A delegation from the Young Republican National Federation will be visiting Mobile & Baldwin Counties from March 17-19. The group is touring potential locations vying for the 2013 Young Republican National Convention. Sites visited included the battleship, RSA Renaiisance Tower, Mobile Carnival Museum, Explorium, and RSA Battle House. The group dined in Baldwin County for lunch on Friday at the new Tacky Jacks on the Causeway. Current and past YR chairs Matt Simpson and Chris Elliott participated in the groups daily activities. A dinner was held at the home of Mobile County republican Party Chairwoman Terry Lathan home in Mobile. Baldwin County was well represented with the Simpson, Elliott, past Baldwin YR Chair Chris Parker, and Baldwin YR State Committee Woman Marina Simpson among the guests from Baldwin County at the dinner.
